DAYEN V. BARRERA, CPA | B.S. ACCOUNTANCY | BINALBAGAN CATHOLIC COLLEGE (BCC)

When I first set foot in the doorsteps of IMA, I was nervous and thrilled of the adventure and the education that I am going to accumulate from the firm. They gave us a warm welcome. IMA didn’t disappoint me with my expectations to practice my understanding in auditing while enjoying the OJT. They assigned us task that were challenging and gave us a chance to lay our hands on their audit work – because they trust us that much and it was encouraging. Based on my observation, I saw how eager the whole IMA team to teach us and share to us their knowledge and skills. They helped us deepen our apprehension in auditing. They were so kind and generous. They allowed us to have a glimpse of how external auditing works in the real business world. I can’t say that IMA gave us the best OJT experience, but I think they gave me the learning I needed.” (Intern Batch 2017)

JEANIE A. FORTUNO, MICB, RCA, CAT |B.S. ACCOUNTING TECHNOLOGY |UNIVERSITY OF ST. LA SALLE (USLS)

“Being an intern in IMA, I had a glimpse of how the corporate world works. I have learned lessons not taught inside the four corners of our classroom, undergone proficient mentorship and they helped me improve myself which made me more disciplined in my work as intern. Moreover, they have valued me more than an intern and it felt like I was part of a strong-bonded family.” (Intern Batch 2018)

ELSA GLADYS O. SOLERES | B.S. ACCOUNTING TECHNOLOGY | UNIVERSITY OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL RECOLETOS (UNO-R)

“Inventor, Miranda & Associates was recommended to me by a friend who also held her internship at IMA last summer. I asked few questions to her asking, how was IMA? How were the employees?  What are duties and responsibilities to be performed? These questions were answered by her and by that time, I felt interested to see the place and decided to have m y on-the-job training there.

I did not regret for choosing IMA as my training ground for future undertakings. The employees were approachable and accommodating. From the first time that I step in IMA, I knew thereon that this company has much to offer.  The only problem I encountered was that the location of the company. IMA is much far from UNO-R and it’s one of the reasons why I arrived late sometimes.  But this problem turned out as a motivation for me. As to quality of learning and training, IMA is no doubt to offer the best one. I am a witness of the quality of work that IMA offers.

All my experiences in IMA are all worth it. The back and forth fare every day is immaterial compared to the learnings that I gained from my supervisors. The best thing that I like about IMA is that, it is a Christ-centered workplace. The employees always find time to reflect to the word of God.

With all the learnings I gained from IMA, I could recommend this establishment to continue as a practicum venue because it offers lot of opportunities for interns to grow in their chosen field.” (Intern Batch 2018)
